I need some HELP with a possible new project!!!

Yep tried finding a vaccum leak on mine. Decided to just replace all the tubes. Its going to get more interesting i have a cab coming from CA to replace my rusted cab.

 

But op can save ne a headache and just sell the one he found. But i probably end up fixing booth.

 

On my old one, the 4wd wouldnt work and I couldnt figure it out.... turns out I had 2 vacuum lines swapped and it prevented the lockers from working.

 

Wish mine looked that clean. But 400k and mn wwinters does a toll on things.

 

Since the truck has 3rd gen wheels on it, it is reasonable to assume that it was in drivable condition in the past 2-3 years. Some of the details seem a little shady, do you know if your girlfriend's uncle has a title for the truck?

Also, isn't Randy Travis insane anyway? I thought he was arrested for something involving nudity and drunkenness within the last few years.

The truck was running this year. Old uncle randy was driving it back and forth to the chicken houses. It needs something to do with the slave cylinder. Will start but wont go into gear apparently....trying to get out there soon.... and yes randy travis is insane now but im pretty sure it cuz he has Alzheimer's real bad or dementia. Ya i heard something bout him maybe riding a lawnmower on the interstate naked as a j bird drunk as hell.

 

The 3rd gen wheels were put on because one of his buddies wanted the aftermarket ones that were on there. It was just sittin so he said sure. Yes uncle randy does own the truck and has the pink slip

 

I realize I'm getting off topic but it seems like he had a rough couple of years with the stroke and all. I don't think he has dementia.

Could be, I think he's the one that couldn't remember anything except how to play the guitar and sing. He recently passed away.
