I have a 06 DCSB TRD Sport 4x4 that just had frame and leaf springs done 2 months ago. Shocks/struts were shot, so took that opportunity to order some Fox 2.0 coilovers.

The salesman I ordered from, said he had the same truck, and put the same setup on, and the truck came out perfectly level. I know the Fox Coilovers come set at 2”. To me, that sounds like that would remove the forward rake and thensome. I was hoping to avoid taking them off and on to keep adjusting the height.

Anyone that has done this, have any recommendations?

I measured center of fender to center of wheels.

    LR: 21.25
    LF: 20.125
    RR: 21.25
    RF: 20.375

I’m not sure if fenders should be same height to be level, or if they were designed to appear same height with the rake.

Truck is otherwise stock, and will remain mostly that way (no heavy bumpers or armor, it’s a DD)

    Thanks!

Do I have this in the correct forum? Or does it belong in Gen 2 discussion?

    Thanks

You are in the correct forum / section ! Youd be fine posting this in either forum.

I had the fox 2.0 coilovers on my truck, and no other lifting parts at one point.
My truck looked perfectly level, with stock fenders and wheels / tires. While I didnt measure the before or after heights of the fender to center of the wheel, to the eye, it was perfect.

If you have a camper shell or are often carrying some amount of load in the bed, you truck might look a little front end high. And even if you decide you want the rer a little high, you can get a simple add a leaf from wheelers, icon, there are many to choose from.

That is what I might do. Put them in as they come and possibly add a leaf cuz I will be pulling a boat in the summer. I just didn’t want it to look like the front was way high, if I put the Coilovers as they come, with no weight in back.

    Thanks!
