It’s been asked before ,if I install Bilstein 5100 on my 2017 Taco SR5 on the front on stock coil and just to level it up with the stock rear , what setting should I have it on ?

Any ideas if the ride is as well the same and is there any vibrations or issues ? Do I need any differential drop kit as well ?
I got 17’ TRD wheels on it with 265/70R/17 Falkens and just want to level it up with the rear without any modifications in the rear .

I’d go with the third. The second provides .65 inches if you go with the third gen 5100s. The third notch I believe is 1.1.
I have the install sheet at home that I can take a picture of tomorrow. I went with ome 884 coils and the 5100s at the lowest setting. I didn’t do anything to the rear and achieved about 1.25 inch front lift. The bilsteins on the third notch would be real similar height. Didn’t do any diff drops and the alignment went fine. The third gen 5100s are a little more but think they have more perches.

Nice looking Taco , I’m willing to do it only for the appearance , no off road at all.
If I don’t change the coils I’ll try to run it on the 2nd or 3rd , because from what I’ve know the rear is 1 inch higher right ?
I do a lot of dirt bike riding and when I load all the gear might have sagging if I go to high in the front ?
Can you take a photo so I can see the part number as well , because there are some different shocks out there with diff part numbers , even if they state they are the same product .....

Here is the install info. Not sure why I was struggling to find it online last night, but here it is.
The lift guide from headstrong I’m only attaching as it has the part number difference between 2nd and 3rd gen.

As for your inch to level question. They usually measure about an inch and a half, you can just check with a tape measure. I feel that if you get the wheel gap dead level though it will appear nose high. Mine still has some rake to it, but minimizing the wheel gap difference and just getting the front end up from the tires a bit was my goal.
If you do just the shocks I’d go on the third setting. If you load your gear and find the few times you have it loaded that the sag isn’t tolerable you can address that at a later time.
Not sure how mechanically inclined you are, but install was pretty straightforward with the right tools. I had never done suspension work besides adding rear airbags to a truck and it went fine. No spring compressor needed if you use the weight of the truck and a jack to compress it.

My goal is as well the same , just to up the front end as well . Mechanically I’m ok and will do it in my buddy shop , because I have tools only for dirt bikes lol
After you did the shocks and coils do you have any difference in the car behavior ?
Any vibrations , or any issues driving it everywhere ?
Can you shout me a link from where you got the shocks and coils just to see how much cost it and to decide if I’m going with only shocks or I’ll get coils as well ?
    Thank you in advance !!!

No vibrations and no issues. The shocks I bought were right about $200 for the pair. The coils I stumbled upon used on craigslist for $80. New they are around $170.
Characteristics that changed were it firmed up the front end a little with less body roll and less brake dive. Still pretty soft in my opinion compared to other vehicles. Still rides very nice. Acceptable driving characteristics vary from one person to the next.
$199 for the pair through headstrong

Same site has coils for $175

The 1.1 setting would get you real close to where I’m sitting as well. Finally took a better picture in the sunlight. It’s not level but looks better than before.

Not 100% sure I understand your question, but I left the rear totally stock. With the off road package it has bilsteins stock.

Has bilsteins stock on the off road. They are 4600 vs the 5100. Didn’t see any reason to touch the rear end
