hey all. My headlights on my 2011 are starting to crack and fade so I went ahead and bought a brand new set. Any recommendations when tackling this? Any shortcuts/easy way? I hear the pop rivets that are used break very easily. If they do, could I find them at a hardware store of some sort? Thank you all.

    What rivets?

    Remove grill
Pull the inner wheel well liners backwards away from the front bumper (remove bolts) and fold them back so they sit on the tires.

Use ur hands and fingers instead of your eyes to find the bottom bolt.

OEM housings are best. Others tend to have poor optics, leak when it rains, fog up in the cold, and the clear coat peels from the INSIDE.

I know there are two on the bottom of the grill and two that hold the trim peices below the headlights. I guess they are called retainer clips but I’ve always said pop rivets lol. And I didn’t get OEM but the ones I got have really good reviews on them.

Thank you guys for the responses! I finally got em in. There is one thing that I’m concerned about though. The new headlights I bought did not come with the dust cover for the headlight bulb, but did come with the headlight housing clip (looks like a paper clip) I took the dust cover off the old headlights and put them on the new ones but I had no clue as how to set the clip for the headlight housing? I decided to just go ahead and put the headlight bulbs in, (they felt secure even without the clips). I drove around on some bumps to see if they rattled around and they actually didn’t. Should I put the clips in? Or is it a big deal?

    id put em in.

should be a small set screw on 1 side that the springs leg sits in, and then it goes across to the tab on the other side no?

havent dealt with mine for over a year (knocks on wood).
