So I did a 2/3 ready lift on my 2018 Tacoma offroad to make room for my 285/70 Falken Wildpeaks. I really love the tires and the lift, turning radius is almost exactly the same (one of my favorite things about the mid-size/short bed truck. However, when I'm reversing out of my snowy drive way, the turning is different.

This may be a noob question, but thought I'd ask. Is this normal when going from 2w to 4hi?

You're probably feeling the driveline binding a little when you're turning. Probably best to leave it in 2wd until you turn out of your driveway and don't need to turn as much.. Im thinking this has to be the difference you're feeling (if you are backing out in 4wd)

Thanks for the response. From reading online, i think you're right. With my new big tires I thought it was some rubbing but I went and checked and it was real close but still had some room. I'll just back up in 2wd like you said and trust my tires.

    thanks!
