He can go 255/85/16 if he wants 33's with stock suspension.

I bought a pretty bare bones TRD OR.

I added the Tonneau (used OEM), bedmat, side steps, heated seats (ebay) and seat covers shortly after purchasing for right around $650 for everything.

I’d rather put my own sound system in, and for the extra $3-4K you spend on all the premium and tech stuff I felt like I could find better deals on used stuff or buy more “premium” hardware.

This is also my argument for not buying the Pro, since I like to tinker and the Pro came with everything I wanted out of the box, it wouldn’t have been nearly as fun to own because modding is a hobby... and an expensive one, so that extra $10-$15k I saved could buy some cool mods or a nice little mid engine two seater... but I digress

I’m happy with my truck choice fwiw.

TBH most of those extras you can buy and install for yourself for half the price. It's all up to you. If you don't want to tinker/mod, or if you live in a tiny studio apartment and have no garage , like me :'(, then maybe it's worth it to have them dealer installer.

    Example:

    Door sill protector- https://www.amazon.com/Toyota-PT747...=8-4&keywords=2016+tacoma+door+sill+protector

    Bed mat- https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00B1TNQC...a94b-9aef2e2bd43d&ie=UTF8&qid=1544722875&sr=2

    Mud guards-https://www.amazon.com/Premium-Splash-Guards-Toyota-2016-2018/dp/B077X1BYJC/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1544723028&sr=8-3&keywords=2018+tacoma+mud+guards

FYI my TRD OR came with the bed mat, door sill protectors and all season mats. My dealer had the option of installing heated front seats without needing to get the premium package. I don't like leather seats (too much maintenance), so I took the heated seats. They installed the Rostra seat heaters, which you can also install yourself but it's a ton of work. I also took a tonneau, which was cheaper online, but it was close to winter and I didn't have time to install myself.
