Any shops near Auburn that install the ECGS bushing?

Hello,

Looking to fix the vibs I am getting upfront from my lift. It has all the tell tale signs, Vibs up 40mph and goes away once in 4 wheel drive. Does anyone know a competent shop that is able to install the bushing?

What did that cost you? I have the bushing and seal, just need it installed. I emailed them asking if they perform that service, but haven't heard back. Next step was a phone call.

 

I'm interested in what they charged you as well.

 

I've had differential related work done by John at Auburn Offroad & Repair. If you want to go south a little bit I highly recommend Bull Built Differentials in Bonney Lake.

 

Anybody have any prices that Mule charged? I need mine done. Same issues as OP

 

Just called Mule, they charge 206 out the door if you bring your own part. Not too shabby

 

Just so everyone knows we stock these bushings and seals. They are priced the same as ECGS, and we are more than happy to install them for you, or you can tackle it at home!

 

And we typically do not install customer provided parts!!

I'm going to try and tackle this install myself... maybe as soon as this weekend (should have all of the tools by tomorrow).

If you need the bearing removal tool, I finished my install today and will be selling it.

 

How did it go?

 

One of the easier installs I've done. Compared to full suspension and SSO slimline bumper with winch.

Hardest part for me was getting the removal tool inserted in place behind the needle bearing. Had to pound it into place, destroying the bearing. Other than that, all nuts and bolts, no tough challenges.

 

Hmmm, ya I'm tempted. I've done suspension and wheel bearings. Doesnt seem too much harder

 

I just followed the steps in post #12. If you have the basic skills, tools and time, I say save yourself the $300 and do it yourself... built, not bought... right?

 

I feel it, dont have too much spare time though

 

Yeah, I was on the border with time too... used it as an excuse to bond with the old man.
