Going up with the wife, kid and dogs and drive around hopefully to find a nice hill to sled. Then hit up DruBru for some beers and food.

I’ve gone up 7720 5 times these past three weeks (I had friends and family that wanted to do snow runs and go shooting in the snow). As of yesterday the snow was very light and a lot was melted. But with the rain we are supposedly getting today and tomorrow in the lowlands, there will be some fresh powder when y’all go up Saturday. There actually are a couple of areas where you can take your children sledding but it requires veering off from the instructions found on the ‘trails off-road’ website. At mile 15 you would take a left instead of a right and it will take you to a clearing that has some previously made fire pits and a big hill you can climb and get a good view of the area. The hill can also be used to sled (there were sled marks when we went yesterday). Hope that was helpful.

Went to Wilkeson and there was a good amount of snow towards the top. Quite a few trucks out there but only two other Toyota's :(

When you say wilkeson what are you referring to exactly? I just moved to the area and would love to know some of the trails close to me.

In this area. Its mostly just lodging roads with a few little trails here and there. Lodging roads go back quite a ways and there's always people target shooting there and what not.

Just so you know, you’re not supposed to shoot up there, but in the years I’ve been up there I’ve only seen forest service a few times

Thanks for the heads up. I typically check, then double check, and even sometimes tripple check before I go firing off rounds in a new place lol.

When you first hit the logging roads there are no signs that say no shooting or fires but after 3 miles you’ll see the Signs
