Got the LBJs and rack pulled and threw them on the pile. Also picked up a spot weld bit (thanks to @Squeaky Penguin for the idea) so I can start removing the stock cam tabs.

Not as far as I wanted to get today, but progress none the less.

Put a Power steering cooler in while you have the system open.

GX got this one. Tacoma got a larger trans cooler I had laying around.

    Thanks, Tim!

I have one on the shelf ready to go in. I’m pretty sure it’s the same one that Brett put in his truck, which is nearly identical to the one in your link. I need to do a PS fluid flush too. The ATF was pretty nasty.

Any other ideas while I’ve got this thing gutted?

    Inline filter.

I can't remember if I put one on the taco, But the GX got one that I have replaced once already. The fluid was beyond roached when I got it.

Man, I haven’t listened to Daft Punk in forever!
Yeah, that’s a great idea. Mine is pretty tore back.

Where would you put the filter? Between the cooler and the pump?

Hey Ryan, were you able to get your gas can mount under your bed with the stock crossmember back there? I can’t remember if you had cut that one out and made your own or not.

I did, it hung lower but I never had an issue hitting it on anything. It's a good bit higher with the tube crossmember now though.

Did you have to cut the stock one out for your shock relocation?

Weren't you going to box the frame? That requires replacing the rear crossmemeber.

Yeah, I guess I forgot that I needed to cut that out of there to do it. Did you tack anything up to keep the frame rails located and square while you were cutting that monster out of there?
    Nice. Thanks, man.

I was planning on cutting mine down to fit with the boxed rails but decided against it since I would gain a lot of clearance for the cans.

Your bumper should keep things square still. The crossmember unbolts so no need to cut it.

It'll slide out after you unbolt it. I had to cut it out as my first attempt at a shock relocation was in the way.

I left my rear bumper on and assumed that would be sufficient for holding it square.

Appreciate the feedback, gents. Doesn’t sound nearly as bad as I thought it might be.

Not to get ahead of myself, but it would be cool to check out some country around your neck of the woods once the trails open up next year.

Hey Tim, is the right spherical bearing for my Kings, and will it fit my rear shocks as well? I’m gonna replace the lowers on my coilovers while I have them off the truck and I might grab a few extra to make the shipping worthwhile. I also need to grab misalignments for the lower rears since I can’t seem to find the ones you handed me from my aluminum rod ends.

    Thanks in advance!

    @TMFF
