47k 2018-2019 Tacomas airbag and brake recall

Recall?? Big deal, my '08 has had more than 6. I lost count after 7.

 

Was it this ridgeline with the gardener accessories.

Sometimes the chicks with rough edges, in need of a little cleaning up are keepers....

Tried to find a late 2nd gen, but gave up and bought a left over 2018. There wasn't much to pick from locally.

 

we had a Nissan Murano in 2016 that went thru 6 recalls in 8 months. the vehicle spent 39 days at the shop after week 1 of us owning it for a sunroof motor that went bad. they made our first payment for us and we drove their rental all we wanted for those 39 days. while our vehicle racked up no miles at all.

I agree recalls suck, but it happens. if my truck is part of it, oh well. my dealer will give me a loaner, so no biggy to me. at least Toyota has caught it before it actually kills someone.

OP, sometimes guys on here can be harsh, especially when multiple threads about the same issue pop up all over the place. but for the most part this is a great forum where a lot of information is readily available. I have learned a lot on here myself in the short time I have been a member. just breath and don't take it personally.

The Tacoma has crazy high resale value too making used ones usually not much sense financially.

 

Thanks for stating your fact that another thread exists. But to come in a just be a DC saying one exists without linking the other is kind of a pointless post.
