    Luckily blue book hasn't really been the trusted resource since the 90s ;) if you want to know the true value of any vehicle you have to do actual market value research. See what comparables are being sold for in your area. Blue book doesn't actually do that

    Go to Yelp, or one of those hipster sites, and look for mechanic shops with excellent reviews. They're WAY better than the dealership idiots.

    The local Volvo dealership sold a 2009 Tacoma with about 60K miles, just like mine but white and totally stock, for about $14K...

    No, only MY dealer gives me free loaner so I don't have to (A) wait around for my truck to be inspected, (B) go without wheels for a good chunk of the day, or (C) borrow my mom's car.

    If I were governor of Pennsylvania, inspections would be done away with.

    PA is seriously lame. Here in Texas, any mechanic will inspect your car, and give you the paperwork in 5 minutes.

    When you wait with the vehicle it still takes an hour and a half. It's the emissions inspection I can't stand because I actually have to pay for that shit...

    Here, they connect something to the exhaust, connect something to the OBD port, do a "gas cap test"...

    It's nitpicky and obnoxious. My truck has NEVER failed emissions. EVER.
