You grow up in that tiny town or move there? I grew up there but now back in the 'burg on the other side of the river.

I moved to spring grove 3 years ago. I work right at 295 and 460 so it's fairly convenient. I grew up in new Kent

That's funny. I lived in New Kent 2014-2016. But grew up in Surry through 8th grade, but a lot of family is still there. Love that place .now in Toano. I'm sure you know some of my people over there. Such a small town. Nice truck btw!

I think Eastern Off Road is still in business. If you wanted to come west there are quite a few shops in Richmond.
I highly suggest TrailTec 4x4 if you came this way.

Eastern is still in business but going by Eastern Truck & Accessories’s. They do great work but are a little pricey

Thanks guys! Do you know if these shops allow customers to bring parts and just pay for the labor?

My shop does. I charge beer. And you help with labor.

Nah, we drink the beer AFTER the lift.

But seriously, I've helped with plenty of lifts. Can get you done in a few hours if your up to it. I'm doing a ton of maintenence on my truck all next week, C/V axels, remove a leaf from the rear, carrier bearing, U/C bushings, and a few other things are on the "to do" list. Can def give you a hand with a quick lift (especially if its just spacers).

People like this are one of the best parts of Tacoma world. I don't want to pay for someting I know someone mechanically inclined can do, and make a TW friend. Everyone has their thing. I've helped people do woodwork because I can and that's what I'm good at. I've built furniture for my house redone my kitchen etc. And I want to LEARN how to do more on my truck. So having someone teach me for a case a beer.....yes please, what is your drink, sir?

Seriously hope to have a lift in the next year as I get settled in back home in VA, but I've been doing a lot of that "makeover home esition,". Takes time and money first.

Just moved to the Virginia beach area. Looking to meet new people and also do truck related things. My work schedule is super light so I am almost always available.
