Hey, I recognize that Tundra in your Alpine Loop pictures!

Glad I stumbled across this thread. Great backstory on your truck. Wish I would have read it before our R3v trip though.

I sold the Tundra and moved into a 16 TRD 4x4 OR DCSB in Inferno.

Would be awesome to plan another trip with you and Will.

Oh hey! That's bad ass. Can't wait to see what you do with it. Yeah we definitely need to get a trip together. There's so much stuff between Colorado, Arizona, Utah and New Mexico.

I definitely think New Mexico is super under rated. There's so much cool shit in New Mexico that people don't really consider. I love that place.

    Nice pic!

I need to get down there and check some things out for sure. I have family around Farmington and Albuquerque, but the rest of the state is completely unknown to me. My only worry is that it’s more overrun with Texans than southern Colorado is...

Yeah I went to college in Las Cruces and I felt I missed a lot of fun stuff by not having a truck at that time. Now I want to go back and check some of that stuff out. And my friend now has property in Albuquerque so I have good reason to make it down there.

This was about 30 miles east of Las Vegas, on the way to Conchas Lake.

Yeah I think I'm gonna try to plan a trip down there sometime next year. I'm super interested to explore some areas I wasn't able to during college.

When I look at my spreadsheet of every dollar I have spent on my truck (except random spray downs at the car wash) I just tell myself that I have a reliable vehicle that takes me anywhere I care to go (and even surprised when I hit more technical stuff than planned). You can't put a price on good memories and getting to great places.

Spent the weekend up in the mountains and snow bashed a trail with some TW folks. It was a good time. Here are some pics:

It's just this cheap shit and the associated $10 wiring harness

    https://www.amazon.com/Nilight-Lights-Driving-Lighting-Warranty/dp/B00WE47FVM

But it works fine, and mine hasn't leaked water or failed so :notsure:

Some day I want to upgrade the lighting but quality lights are expensive and I have other priorities lol
