Synthetic motor oil? Yes or no

Is there a sticky for this info?
If not, what are the pros and cons of switching to synthetic motor oil

Or swapping all fluids to synthetic for that matter

Toyota oil filter (sometimes)
Fram Ultra 3600( larger filter) most times
Mobil 1 75-90 syn gear oil Front and Rear diff-- same in transfer case
Change myself, twice a year ,Just after Thanksgiving then change after Easter . Then repeat aprox 5=6000 miles each
Original owner 54000 mile
Oil is personal choice others will chime in
