Sounds like I missed a good time today. The real question is, who was the best at murdering clay pidgins?

Nope. The people without the bro lean just blend in and you didn't notice them because they actually use their trucks as trucks. :anonymous:

:rofl:Just don't be the idiot out there with a car / rental. My friend with a VW GTI thought he could drive out to the racetrack very slowly and got stuck and had to sleep in the car overnight. Every time I'm out in Death Valley I see some highly questionable shit like a RAV4 with passenger tires (and no spare) on some of the dirt roads with very sharp rocks...
Spend the extra money and rent a JEEP and then go anywhere you want (before it breaks).
Here's one example of someone being semi-prepared with gear but the wrong vehicle in the wrong place. https://pvtimes.com/news/woman-rescued-from-death-valley-after-her-vehicle-became-stranded-in-snow/

As for the Amazon chat: the trick is on all of you with Prime. The prices include the obscene cost of expedited shipping and working the non-robots to exhaustion for low pay (and peeing in bottles because they can't even make it across the warehouse to the bathroom in their allotted 15 min break). I've compared prices to local stores and almost always (if you can find it locally) it's cheaper. They play into the I WANT IT NOW FROM THE COUCH desires.

Yeah, realistically I'll be stuck on the RV'able roads but oh well.

And researching the prices on competitors sites surely can show that Amazon Prime products are not always the cheapest. But for me... Driving to a real store that has a selection is a long haul so time and gas usually justify having it shipped since it'd arrive before i decided to make the trek.

    pretty much this, unfortunately.

I needed some specialty header bolts (M10 12 pt ferry cap). I think the guy at Industrial Fasteners sold them to me at cost since they were obscure old stock; I paid a couple bucks out the door and they would have been like $40 online

the real cost was having to take time off work and drive across town and back because of their small business hours

Hey, just wanted to stop by and let you guys know your state is beautiful. Took a trip there a couple months ago and enjoyed it very much. Took lots of pictures but the road in this video is tied with pikes peak for my favorite part. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DnNGFON1eFw

You aren't super liberal with the skinny pedal so I'm guessing you'll bend a tie rod before you break a CV :p
