After messing with preload so many times, I have no clue now where the truck sits now in terms of lift height over OEM. I just say 2.5” every time someone asks. Just put on the 650lb springs I scored, gonna see where they settle with the weight up front, and adjust fire from there.

@JoeCOVA I’m pretty freakin’ impressed with it, definitely overbuilt and over engineered. The attention to details regarding the mounting points and reinforcements are second to none. The only other bumper I’ve had experience was an ARB Bull Bar, and installation was hands down way easier. Being new to the Offroad scene, I realize that hardly qualifies as experience. However the quality of material used, design, aesthetics and general “beef” to the Mobtown Bumper is just impressive. Fit and finish allow for some play, and forgiveness if a cut line or two are off a bit. To sum it up, my pretty stoked to have it!

Has anyone with a cbi t3 front bumper had issues during thing install? I thought I read somewhere that the reservoir bracket and mounting bracket interfere with each other

Just installed the icon rxt rear leaf pack and extended travel 2.5kings today.

    But got a few questions:
    1) There is a tall and short bushing on the top of the shock. Which one is suppose to be closest to shock body? For some reason I believe the shocks came with the thin one closest to the body so I removed the thick one to place over the top during installation. I will have to double check what orientation I have.

    2) Is the installation of front shocks and UCA easier or harder than the rear?

    Thanks

I installed them how they were oriented before install. I think the top bushing was is 1/2"ish.

Front shocks and UCA is way harder and about 2-3 times longer to install

The fronts took 3 hours and the majority of that time was spent bending metal to make way for the UCA bolt to come out.
    Rears are simple.

Are your rear shocks extended also or just the front?

Good to know they take longer and I am glad I didn't try to install front and rears in one day. I would've been working in the dark.

    Rears are extended as well.

I currently have a non-extended set on order. Hopefully they work ok with the RXT leaf in configuration 1.

Anyone use extended travel Kings for rear on stock leafs? Not wanting rear lift at the moment and wondering if I'll need to. Are extended rear brake lines required with this set up?

I hope so too, I'll be installing the RXT leafs in configuration 1 this weekend.

    That’s exactly what I did.
Didn’t turn the fronts - left them at king factory setting, which is supposed to be level.
Then installed the rear shocks without lift.
Ride is amazing, it corners like a plush sports car and looks stout in person.127FD474-4045-4473-9539-373031F96C62.jpg226F3FFB-62BB-4E5E-81FB-AE33EDD85011.jpg
