I ripped out that old ashtray that I never used from my 01 Tacoma, looking around online I hoped someone had the same idea as me but I don't see any parts for what I was thinking of doing. I wanted to use that space much like a cubby that most of these new cars have as a place to set my phone/glasses etc in by popping a new box in there with the same sort of metal retainer plate at the top to hold it together real nice.
Does anyone have any other good suggestions that would give about the same effect?
