SC Mod Day 2/9

We should set a date for this thing at some point.

 

I know it! Does anyone have any recommendations? I am wondering if maybe late February or early march would be good. I know it'll be cold but other than that my calendar is open around those times. Any later and it'll be a hard nope because I'll be getting the nursery ready.

 

The last weekend of Feb would be good for me personally, but I'm down for anytime, really. Whatever everyone else wants.

 

Also, did someone mention Meat meet 2019 sometime in the spring? Is there space at Benford? I think we need to plan around the Meat meet because that'll be a much bigger event.

Yep, thinking spring or fall.

 

I'm out in Aiken and would be interested in attending in January. I have an ECGS bushing to install...have the tool and the TRD off road kit that was on sale a while ago. I might not be able to get to all that but the bushing would be good to do!

Well folks I think this is not going to happen. I just don't really have the time to get cleaned up and host an event. I have too many things I need to do in the upcoming months. Im sorry I put this off for so long.

For anyone not in the SC BS thread, I have twins coming in 5 months or less and the to do list is getting longer.

 

I think trying to see if we can couple this with the next Smoked Meet would be a good idea, especially if it's going to be in the Spring and not hot AF this year.

Maybe @themadzapflasher could inquire for us? If that's not going to be an option maybe we could ask if @EddyRRT would let us do another one at his shop. That is asking a lot from him. It's a heck of an imposition. The last mod day at his place was pretty kick ass, though! And Gulches is just around the corner if wheeling is desired. My place is open, but I can probably only realistically host 5 or 6 trucks, and I don't have covered parking or any of the other amenities.

OP and title changed. I can keep this thread alive if someone wants to take the reigns on planning.

 

It will probably plan itself, lol. These things have a tendency to take off once they have momentum.
