Installed some nitto ridge grapplers 285/75/16’s on my factory trd off-road wheels. NOTE they do rub a smidge on the upper control arms with a 3” old man emu lift at full lock.
If the wheel is turned 99% it doesn’t rub, that little extra .99 it starts to rub. I also have a set of trd pro wheels 17” with 285’s on ko2s and they do not rub what so ever. I have a full break down of the lift and tires on a separate post however just wanted to share my 285/16 results as I just got them. Hope this helps anyone whos looking into the same setup

    cant miss it.
pull the cluster while its beeping if your not sure.
once cluster is unplugged and on workbench you will need a small torx driver to remove rear cover.
give the small round black beeper a good hard twist an it will pop right off the circuit board.

Any links for this process, very interested. I’ve never had a vehicle beep so much at me lol.

Also, if you have a trailer hitched and truck in reverse it beeps beeps like you’re running into something. Is there a way around this?

You might have park assist on. When backing with the trailer, thinks you are to close to something that you might hit. Just turn it off.

Not sure about the backup sensors... as my truck is not equipped with them.

The cluster beeper is stupid simple to access.
Be sure steering column is tilted down and telescoped out to give you more room to work.
Just pull on the dash trim. It pops right off.
There are 4 10mm/phillips screws holding the cluster in place.
pull the cluster out to reach the two plugs. press small tab in center of each plug to release them.
put cluster on a soft non scratch surface and remove the torx screws around the back cover.
After screws are out, use a pick to release approx 3 snap tabs and it pops right off.
Grab beeper with pliers and twist it off the circuit board.
    Done.

I'm in the Jackson area too. I've wondered if there was anyone else on here. We should try to schedule a mini-meet.

Cool. There’s some from the coast on here, and a handful of others. I think one of the MC students/faculty is on here. Usually post pics of snow and what not.

The Mississippi thread has a post every few months lol. Crickets on there lol
