I think this is the lift I want...Toytec Ultimate

After much debate and pouring over the TW forums I'm starting to narrow the lift that I want down. So I've been looking at this on.

Is the Toytec Ultimate Lift hard to install? Anybody have this? What if I only want a 2'' lift? What are my options then?

It's on backorder now so I have some time to make up my mind.

 

That is a great lift. If you want 2" you can use a spacer, 5100's, or just set the ultimate kit to 2".

 

Does that mean I need to do an AAL in the rear? 5100's all around? What spacer would I use?

 

I believe Toytec has a 2" spacer lift. I think you could just bump the 5100s up and use just the stock coils.

 

Is this the one you are talking about minus the Ranchos?

I still want to go with the 5100s because I hear nothing but good things about them.

The 5100s are adjustable to 2.5". Use your stock coils with them.

 

I'm buying that lift as soon as I get the bank to increase my credit line.
I looked under the Toytec vendor section and I believe he posted they were back in stock but on their website it still says backorder so I'm not sure.

EDIT: I lied...the 5100's are for the '05+ =(

 

So then 5100s up front adjusted to 2.5 and an AAL in the rear? Will this give me a level 2" lift all around?

 

back order is for the leaf packs i believe........ i am getting ready to pull the trigger on the ultimate with LR UCA's, the ome dakar leaf paks. waiting on some reply's from toytec before i purchase....I will be so happy to get rid of the revtec spacers and 1.5" AAL....

 

It is always somewhat of a crap shoot as to where you will end up. But yeah, I think with the billies set for 2.5 and using your stock coils you'll end up somewhere in that neighborhood. 2-2.5" higher in front. What shape are your rear leaf springs in now? How many miles on them? Do they have a positive arch? Flat? or Negative arch (frown)?

 

My 2004 only has 28,000 original miles on it. It used to belong to a female doctor who did not beat it up...So the rear springs are still in good shape. So will an AAL in the rear set me up a level 2" if I put 5100s all around and set the fronts to 2.75". This might be a less expensive way to do what I want.

 

With hat low a mileage on the springs, I would say go for it. The progressive TRD coils will eventually sag a little bit but the 5100 set at the top is a much better option that putting a spacer on top of those coils. In the rear, the stock springs will likely see the full benefit of the 2" AAL. Maybe even a little bit more.
