Auxbeam are a good cheap company.
I have had mine 3years or so.
Leave them right on truck through winters..
I have heard the lighting isn't as good as cali raised or rigid..but I payed $20 for both pods
Used my own wiring and switch (they all seem to give lame switches anyways).

If I needed mine for search and rescue or life saving situations...I might pay for the high dollar lights..:notsure:

The cheap lights just use cheap led chips, not near what they claim in wattage. I've had a Autofeel 42" roof mounted bar for over a year and it works great, no condensation but it not as bright as a 42" that cost 300-500bucks.

kinda depends on what your goals are. do you want the most light possible? then you wont get that with cheap brands. if you just need some basic lighting, then cheap lights work fine.
also comes down to what your budget it. you can get a china light bar in 50" for under 100 bucks, or you can get a good name brand 50 for 1000bucks. lol

I can second Auxbeam. Never had a problem .As stated they are not quite as bright as the $400 but considering the price i love them .

I just got a set of Baja Sports on sale and I hooked them up to a battery yesterday. I'm impressed with the amount of light from a 3" pod, more than 2-3 of my cheap 4" pods. They did cost 6 times as much. This is really a case of you get what you pay for.

Lights are 100% about the adage, "you get what you pay for". I just replaced my Amazon LED bar and pods with name brand lighting and I don't think I will ever run cheap LEDs on any of my vehicles again.

I upgraded my fog lights to some Rigid DOT/SAE duallys and threw some amber covers I had laying around on for winter. Then, I upgraded my 20" Amazon DR to a 20" Lightforce SR. If you are like me and actually use your fog lights on the streets, I highly recommend spending the money for a known brand and go with a DOT/SAE light pattern. Makes a world of difference over the Amazon combos I had.
