    Hey Everyone,

I typically leave my back seats down for my pup. Because of this, I worry that things in my back seat storage could be at risk of theft. I also dislike just tossing things back there and leaving it unorganized.

Has anyone found a nice duffle bag that fits the storage space? Or potentially another storage solution. I figure a bag would keep things organized and make it less obvious what is in the truck.

Just for clarity, I am speaking of the storage behind the back seat that is exposed when the seats are folded down.

    Thanks in advanced!

I put all my stuff that i want to have with me all the time in 2 Arct'teryx Index 15 bags. Even full they fit in the storage area behind the seat back. Also completely out of sight. I have to keep my seats up because of a carseat but have the Mud River seat protector on the one side and the dog is fine with it.

I hang a dog hammock from the head rests on the front seats to the mounting loops on the back wall and it covers everything pretty well. It's not as secure as an actual box but you can't see anything under it.

This is what I used. I would recommend something a little sturdier as mine has been resewn a couple of times but it still works.

I also cut down a piece of 2" thick, high density foam to put under the hammock for longer trips. If I remember correctly, I left the 24" depth and cut it down to something like 53" long. Fits very well on the folded rear seats and is really comfortable.

Thanks for the tips. The seat down approach really works for me. I just want to find a way to better organize the items in those cubbies.

It might help to clarify your body style. It sounds like an access cab? I made a platform to level out the back area. Some people use tool boxes to do the same thing. 1209181356a.jpg

There are several threads on this. I posted this pic on at least one other. Works great with the dogs.1106171118.jpg

Seconded. I use the older version of this one, its great for the dogs and hiding crap underneath:

My dogs get no traction on the folded seats, if I had a hard braking event all I hear behind me is toenails skittering on hard plastic followed by a thump against my seat.

The dog hammock could still work with your seats folded down and it would cover the open cubbies where you’re storing things.

What items are you storing in these cubbies?
I have a craftsman 13" tool bag that fits nicely in the cubby.
