So my Sirius XM works fine- except when I use my Yakima Load Warrior cargo basket on the racks on my roof. It makes XM intolerable to listen to (constant in/out every few seconds).
So I know it's the metal basket rack blocking the signal.
I'm hoping to find/source an XM cable SPLITTER so that I don't have to choose between the stock shark fin antenna and a separate aftermarket XM magnetic-mount antenna w/cable.
(or take apart the dashboard/radio to switch antenna connections every time I put the basket roof rack on/off).
That said, I don't know what specific kind of wire/splitter/connectors I have or need.
I did take some pics of the male/female connections behind the head unit- any help is appreciated.

Right- I would be open to using TWOmini XM antenna extension cord (maybe 16" long?) to basically make the existing connection within reach somewhere (not behind head unit in dash). Then I could manually switch from the stock connection to the aftermarket XM/magnetic antenna (mounted wherever I want) on the fly. Of course it would be better to have a splitter so I don't have to manually switch antenna cable connections.
