As the title asks, is it possible to turn the dash lights off on a 2018 Tacoma. I have a problem with glare at night and would like to be able to turn my dash lights off at night. Does any one know of a way?

Don’t think you can’t then them all the way off, but if you twist the skinny odometer trip knob / button on the dash it’ll dim it......you have to keep 1/4 twisting it to the left to get it to dim

If this is an issue, I'm surprised you don't already have a dash blanket or some such from your previous vehicle. It will also work on your taco?

Even at the lowest setting, it's still pretty bright. Most times I have the radio screen off as well.

Anyone know if it's possible to set the back lighting lower using techstream?

That’d be great. I’d like it off altogether too

I don't mind the small screen on the gauge cluster, it's just a little to bright.

The radio screen can be turned off however.

Right. I almost always have it off.

Wish you could push the right knob to turn off the screen instead of having to go into settings.....

I think there’s a quick short way from one of the screens, to turn off the radio screen. If it comes to me I’ll post up.

I’d like to do this too. The lights are too bright at night.

I didn’t have a problem with my 2005 Taco, it had red dash lights that I could turn down to where they didn’t bother me, plus it had al lot less lights than the 2018.;)

I think you're thinking of what I do......push the settings gear button in the top right corner from the main "home" screen and then there's a long bar at the bottom center of the screen that will turn the screen off. It's like 3 taps on the screen when you've got the radio up. Would be nice if that right hand button could be pushed to turn it off. Right now it just beeps and does nothing when you push it (from the radio and home screens at least)
