Please go to the 3rd gen threads, there are plenty of them. I'm all for the Tacoma, no bitching here.

Don't start that conversation again, lol!
It will never end and nobody will win... just like politics.
As long as there isn't a clear definition of the word "issues", then it will turn into a 465 page argument.

Should be interesting. Articles I’ve read recently indicate mid size trucks are cannibalizing all other segments of auto sales.

I think the Tacoma is positioned perfectly.

    Let the war begin.

If they offer the new Ranger with a Tacoma badging option they might squeeze in 10% of Tacoma sales in 2019. LOL

There's no argument here. I said with the issues the 3rd gen has had it will still beat out the Ranger. Do you really believe the Ranger won't have any problems. Please this is still an American made vehicle.

Oh, no, the Ranger will have more problems than the Tacoma ever did. That's just a fact.
New model releases tend to do that, especially if American made, unfortunately.
I was just sayin', don't beat that dead horse, lol.

Don't even get me started on my 02 first gen Tacoma's issues. I cannot see the clock without leaning my head 6 inches to the right!!!! Holy crap Toyota, why! But seriously, this is the ONLY complaint about a truck I have owned and loved for 16 years. A couple minor recalls and luckily, I live far enough south that I wasn't plagued by the rusty frame fiasco.

I don't have a 3rd yet, but they did have a transmission and rear differential problem which Toyota fixed. The Ranger is a poor man's Tacoma.

The Key point to it is how it was dealt with by the manufacture "Fixed" says it all.

I think regular Sedans are taking the biggest hit, truck sales are definitely increasing.
