There is far too much talk about Toyotas going on in here... can't we talk about Fords or Chevys?

I put in for that early October and was denied. Management had the audacity to say merry Christmas to all us night shifters this morning because as of 3pm they’re all off until after Xmas. :luvya:

We have a half day for our one employee tomorrow and then off until the 27th. Luckily we can do that and it won’t hurt us at all. At the dealer right now and the service guy said they only get Christmas Day off.

They were scared that I saved two personal days through the year and that I’d take it anyways even though it’s been okay to run under minimum when it was on one of their shifters to get forced... woosah

We had our department party last Friday. Company is too big to have a company wide party so they give every department a budget based on the number of people in it and they let each department chose what they want to do. Works out pretty well.

We had our party last week. Just the office staff. Can't serve our field workers alcohol, that can be a complete disaster in the drywall biz. French Canadians and free alcohol? People will probably die.
