    Even when I had my racecar I couldn't get on the drilled/slotted bandwagon. Have you used these before? I wouldn't have considered putting these on my truck. Curious to hear about your experience.

    :rofl::rofl::rofl:

    I'll send you ours if you want when it comes? We live in the Bermuda Triangle of weather phenomena up where we are. It could be only an inch everywhere on the ride up to the house and when we get to our driveway it is like it only snowed there. I swear I saw flurries this morning.

    Yeah that's what I chalked it up to in the past. I've heard some if the cheap drilled rotors are actually holes drilled in the rotor....not cast in the to the rotor and can destroy pads very quickly. All this in addition to the cracking. My personal opinion is that you want as much surface area as possible for heat dissipation and braking surface for the best performance.

    I also had stoptech performance pads once....worst things I ever put in my car. The amount of dust was insane for a "street" pad and performance was no different than OEM. Ended up changing out for akebono pads which were fantastic. Stoptech OEM rotors were great though. The coated center bits didn't rust like bare metal ones. Really liked that. Made for a nice picture :)

    Haha, that's funny. I am always amazed at how much orange power I see working in driveways after a snow!

    Well, drilled are prone to cracking unless you have some super high dollar carbon ceramic johnnies.

    So this is my first true drilled rotor on a daily driver. All it really does is remove weight...its heat dicipation is not as well as slots do.

    So we’ll see how they do. This is my most expensive set of rotors for the truck so far.

    This is why once the slots and camfers on the drilled holes are gone, its time for new rotors.

    They crack after the provisions designed into them are worn away. Or if they experience an extreme heat cycle too many times.

    Nonetheless, that is an exceptionally detailed thread.

    Over 1600 feet of shared and personal driveway for the elderly folks that live back in the woods behind me. Trust me, if it was just me on a private drive, I would not remove an inch and when it got to deep to get through in the truck, I would just stay home. :thumbsup:

    The pads are what i’m most skeptical about. I’m sure the rotors will be fine. I do plan on replacing them with just slotted rotors or dimpled and slotted like i have now

    Until TacoWorld comes up with a PTO mod so I can mow my field, I need a tractor.

    I normally plow my mom's driveway pretty good but I just do a quick pass on mine. My Taco is fine in the snow and my wife has a Subaru.
