Muffler bolt in replacement

Years ago when I sold parts, none of walkers "stock" replacements were stainless. Now that might have changed, but I doubt it.

 

OEM Toyota are the best longest lasting stock cat backs, if you want to spend the money$

 

Not sure if the pipe is, on their site it just says 100% stainless muffler. Actually it says all of their replacement mufflers are. kinda has me leaning towards theirs now and getting the intermediate pipe too and just putting one of those thick joint clamps where it comes together, cant remember what theyre called, Ive used them to put a cat on a car in the past.

One of the reviews stated that the muffler rusted out in less than 3 years, so much for stainless.
I've had alot of problems with walker products cracking on my civic and my wife's accord. I just keep taking the parts back to advance until they tell me no more. I think it's a one time replacement.

 

Just an update, I bought the walker muffler for $109 shipped off ebay and put it on this past weekend. Used a sawzall to cut off the old one and the walker fit right up where the old one was. I used one of those band clamps to join it to the existing intermediate pipe, Ive used them in the past on project cars so I guess Ill see how it holds up on my DD.

 

My stock exhaust lasted 12 years before a hole developed on top of the muffler.
I bought oem to replace it.
I have never had an aftermarket exhaust last as long as this. And it was under $500. with gasket and hardware.
Took about an hour to swap out.
