I am a 04B04, dongle-less. Can I flash 1.05 that Mat shared earlier. But they are .BIN extension files.

But Mat send me .p5f files with 1.04R.

    Thanks

Thanks everyone. I'm really hoping 1.05 gives people the truck and drive they've wanted from day one.
A lot of thought went into the update.

@OVTune Thanks for all your hard work. You’ve done some amazing things that a lot of people will greatly appreciate.

It looks like a couple pages back, there was a guy that successfully flashed using the canbus drop down instead of the p5 canbus. Is there a difference? I used the p5 canbus as I believe I’ve used every time before.

For those that are interested in the gear lock mod: you may reconsider giving up ECT in D mode, because damn.... that’s all I gotta say :)

Although the protocol is technically used for the non read capable phase 5 ecus, it can be used

One word...AWESOME! It drives almost as smooth as my Sienna. This is how it should've came from the factory. Can't wait to try the 93 file when I get back from the holidays.

Flashed 1.05 93 this AM and let it idle for 10 mins before going to work. I was running 1.04R 91 with 93 Octane. First impression after only 10 miles of suburban commute...it's much smoother everywhere (I have not run it above 4K RPM though) and there is noticeably more power in the 1500-2000 rpm range...which bodes well for highway work, which I hope to test later this afternoon. So far, very pleased with this minuscule sampling. :)

Stoked for the dongleless release. I’m headed down to Montana for the holidays and will have plenty of mountain driving.

So I am 04B03. Is there any advantage to me doing the tsb myself to put me at 04B04 then flashing 1.05 vs flashing 1.05 while at 04B03?

Im tempted to go do the tsb myself this afternoon just so I can flash 1.05 on 04B04 today...
