    12/4/2018: 48,100 miles

Changed the oil, greased all the u-joints, UCA zerks, lubricated the uniballs, changed the oil in both diffs and the transfer case, replaced the headlight bulbs, added the ARB fogs to my bumper, cleaned the entire frame (best one can) by hand and coated it and all suspension parts in fluid film...

Now I can’t decide whether or not my truck is now ready for winter or it’s been winterized and should sit in my garage

    Nah. Too much hunting left.

How do the Terra Grapplers do in the snow? I'll probably be due for tires in another 20k.. won't miss the Duratrac hum / vibrations.

Also.. you put your 700# springs on yourself? Asking for a friend :)

had the day off, so I went out with my pops trout fishing. was around 30 and snowing at times, enjoyed every minute.

No crazy rock crawling involved, but it’s definitely nice to be in the middle of nowhere with no paved roads and no cell service.

also as a side note, dobinsons snorkel arrives tomorrow... :bananadance:

dude, I’m not getting alerts like I used to, sorry this took so long. The terra grapplers are okay in the snow, I can’t say I’m overly impressed. The G2 was better, but they don’t make them in a 285/75/16 so I had to go back to the original. I will most likely buy ridge grapplers this time around.

Also, nah I got a buddy up the street with a wall mount compressor so I just have him do it. The rental death sticks aren’t for me...

I have a friend that lives in Colorado now that runs NRGs on his T4R and he loathes them. My other buddy that lives there (they’re roommates..) has STT Pros on his Jeep and they’re better in snow than the NRGs (which shouldn’t be the case). I scratched NRGs off my short list for now.

I actually ordered Cooper AT3 XLTs in 285/75/16 for now to see how a more conventional AT is over the hybrid ones (Duratrac, NRG, S/T Maxx, etc.). Coming from duratracs.. so we’ll see how they are. Going to be better on road and with less noise at least.. same weight tho :(

Where do you live in state? Haha. 700# springs are in my future if I add any more weight / want to reduce preload.

I’m in Charles Town. Although 700 is pretty stiff I think I need to add a few more pounds, winch, skids etc.

That’s what they told me when they put my coil overs together .. and then I dialed in a whole lot of preload to get some lift. I’m sure it’ll be stiff, but I can justify swapping to the C4 hybrid bumper in still then since it’s heavier
