Distance to empty difference?

I have found the 2018 Tacoma fuel indicating computer calculations to be extremely accurate so far. My lifetime fuel consumption averages slightly over 20 MPG, and I always see in excess of 400 DTE after fill up. I’ve done some simple calculations at interment points, filled up at half tank, quarter tank, etc., and the full pumped compared to gauge reading was within 2% of the computer calculations.

 

My mpg dropped significantly as soon as I put on my Blizzaks. And to make things worse, it’s 60 degrees today!

 

My commute everyday is short, only drive about 24 miles a day, so that could be something to do with it. I do get more mileage than what it shows at time of fill up.
