I guess I got lucky after reading all of the complainants on this web site about transmissions, shifting, power, and the ride. I had a 2018 SR for about 4 months and could not be happier. I have not experienced any of the issues I read about (not that i'm doubting any of you). Had a 02 TRD extended cab and i'll take the new SR any day.

Most likely they are not driving 75 and 80. But if you hear it click down to 4th gear going that fast I can assure you your MPG's will go down the tubes.

If I didn't know him better, I could perhaps see why you'd think that. He's actually a good guy, despite the number if dicks he's had to deal with since the start of this Tacoma tuning journey.
You have to understand that there's a very broad customer base out there, including skeptics, old school car guys, technically illiterate ppl, and computer nerds. Engineers and fucking paranoid lunatics too lol. ..and then of course the nay-saying trolls. They all bring their own knowledge and/or opinions with them on here. Some appreciate the way he communicates ( I do), while others don't get it at all. SO how do you satisfy everyone's appetite for information in a meaningful way? That's a hard one, and he's already admitted that it's not his strong suit. IMHO, it's a very good thing that he's talented where it counts - sorting this tune out.
BTW, that exact same Blog was shared on social media - not just on this site.

For those that care my taco was a Toyota all day and the transmission fluid was indeed low, they also changed my oil and did the update to my transmission, looking forward to see what the update holds.
