    Welcome.

I’m bringing my kids down for Christmas, but will be flying my girlfriend down for a few days around New Years.
Looking for some good local recommendations for the best way to experience New Years in the Seattle area. Not locked into Seattle if there’s better things but it’s the most likely.
Also anyone have a good lead to an affordable hotel in the Seattle area.
Kinda fishing for info at this point.
    Thanks in advance.

Best thing to do for NY in WA is to fly to Hawaii.

    My suggestions are as follows:

    1) Stay in a Seattle or Bellevue hotel
    2) Have a nice dinner/drinks at The Charter Seattle Fog room (rooftop)
2a) If you prefer to stay outside of Seattle, stay in Bellevue and make reservations for dinner at Ivars on Northlake to be away from Seattle crowds
    3) Watch the firework at the Space Needle

The space Needle is pretty cool. I've always had fun with that

There is a hotel across the street from the Space Needle, which has a rooftop deck. Best place to be front and center for the fireworks without all the chaos of being on the street. Did it last year and it was awesome.
