Anybody here have experience with this tire?

This looks like a good deal for a relatively lightweight E load rated tire. Aramid sidewall plies. Gnarly tread depth. 43.7 lbs listed on Amazon for 265/75/16!... not sure if that is possible, but I'm happy if it's up to ~50 lbs. Not much info available online for these tires, but they are available through @Discount Tire Direct, so hopefully they will chime in with some info.

I don't really need a winter tire in NW GA, but I definitely need a tire that resists abrasion due to daily chert/limestone rocky road road driving, and I need a tire that is OK for highway and daily. Don't need the E load rating, as long as it is a compliant tire with good highway manners.

Also, it looks like Nokian is now a local employer/manufacturer: https://www.nokiantires.com/daytonfactory/

I've seen those at the store when I was shopping for a new tires, they looked great and sidewalls were pretty thick. Heavy, yes.
I also suggest to check out the Rotiiva AT tires, they are great, will get you to hell and back from it from my experience.

    Found specs for 265/75/16:
    https://www.kaltire.com/en/tires/rockproof/284818.html (Canada)

    Tire Width:265
    Tire Profile:75
    Wheel Diameter:16"
    Speed Rating:Q
    Load Index:123
    Tread Depth:19/32"
    Weight:52.50lbs
    Section Width:10.50"
    Overall Diameter:31.70"
    Product Code:T430153

52.5 lbs sounds more realistic than the eBay shipping weight listed above. Not bad for an E-rated tire in that size.

gilligoon, unfortunately, we don't have the Nokian Rockproof tire in our lineup at this time and don't have any first-hand knowledge of this tire in action although the specs look very solid. We may be able to special order them for you if you like.

Good report with photos by Norilish.
