    "Gimp"

    He first showed up on my trial cameras in the summer and continued to make an appearance every card pull....but at night. All season long, I have only seen him on camera at night....never during daylight.
    Fast forward to December 14, 2018, Gimp made a bad decision of being 120yd away from my muzzleloader in daylight. Perfect broadside shot was made and he expired in seconds.
    I feel super greatful to have watched this buck on camera since summer and then to have harvest him almost a week ago! It's an unreal feeling when you have watched a buck for that long and then to harvest them afterwards....a stronger connection. I feel super greatful for this experience and has made me appreciate hunting even more!!
    I took my time getting as much from Gimp as I could to feed my family. I'll take great care to make a good euro mount from Gimp so he'll forever be cherished in my home!

    Went out this morning as the cold front came in. Thought they would be on the move after yesterday's monsoon (3 inches of rain). Only saw 1 doe that was out of range.:notsure:

    We just removed our ladders from the archery only watershed ground. They have to be out by the end of the month.
    Guess I'll hunt from ground level for the last couple of sits.

    Seems like I was just setting up the ladder in August.:goingcrazy:
