Does anyone know with confidence if a 16” rim from a 2016 TRD will fit on a 2018 SR5? I was talking to tire guy and he was talking about shanks and possibly the rim being different and would hit the brakes.

I’ve seen them on SR5s before so I’m not sure the guy is right or not and would prefer to know before I buy a set of TRD rims.

I Found a good deal on some locally. Picture is of the truck rims.

    Any info would be great.

Any input or info or if anyone has done it would be greatly appreciated. I’m thinking they should fit, but I don’t know.

Oh there will be some mods all right
He is most definitely wrong. They will 100 percent fit. All Tacoma wheels are interchangeable. If you really wanted you could put second gen wheels on yours or 3rd gen on a first gen even. Moral of the story, grab those wheels and tires if you like them and they're a good price :)
