I recently purchased a 2016 Tacoma. I am trying to confirm it’s lift so I can size new tires. There is a 2” tappered block in the rear. Does that mean the rear is lifted 1” and the front is lifted 3”? Is that considered a leveling kit or lifted?

Level is just a cosmetic action to raise the nose to remove the functional factory rake.

Level lift is lifting F and R while still removing any rake.

Lifting is an open game, based on technique and goals.

Know why you want to lift, study ways of how to lift, do it right the first time, even if it costs more than you think it should.

Lift does not impact tire clearances nearly as much as tire size selection and wheel fitment.

Lots of reading in the wheel/tire and suspension forums to help you out.

Do yourself a huge favor and throw the leveling kit in the garbage.
