    Hi. I just purchased my first Tacoma a couple of weeks ago. It's a 2016 Tacoma TRD Sport. It came with a lift(don't know which one) and Method aftermarket wheels. The truck has just under 44,000 miles on it now. I previously owned a red 2017 Jeep JK with a 4" lift that I put on it and Fuel wheels with 35" tires. It was beautiful Jeep but I never really fell in love with it but I gotta say....I absolutely love this Tacoma. I have been reading over this forum for the last two weeks and finally joined today. There is a plethora of info on here and I look forward to contributing in the future.

    Thanks. I don't have a better picture of the truck yet. I pulled the truck in my shop last weekend and waxed it, changed the oil, put new rotors and pads on, changed the air filter and cabin filter. Supposedly the dealership did all that but by the looks of the oil, they had not. As you can see from the photo, it doesn't look like the cabin filter had ever been replaced.

    I read over the tips and tricks on the 3rd gen Tacoma thread and I am a little worried about the low transmission fluid problem. My truck slowly slips into drive from park in the morning. I'd like to check the level myself because well...I don't trust dealerships and I am now out of warranty and I don't want to have to pay for it. After reading through the "Transmission 2016/2017/2018 6 speed automatics could be low on fluid directly from factory" thread, I seem to be exhibiting a lot of signs of low fluid or needing an ECU flash. I need to download the repair manual from Toyota so I can learn how to check the fluid level myself. I also plan on checking torque on my u-bolts this weekend and greasing all fittings.
