My quote was from a couple (5?) years back, so guessing prices have risen with the times.

Is that relative to weight and size of the item? And does the number of items play a factor?
If not, that is still a good rate for shipping across a vast ocean.
Load it up with a bunch of stuff, and ship it all at once.

We should do like a Guam Group Buy.

So, my bed rack and new front bumper came in on Friday. Total weight was like 180 and shipping was only about 160. Not too bad. Used Triple B forwarding. (cali to guam) Shipping time was about 20 days.

Nice, how did you go about setting things up with them?
For 180lb, $160 is not bad.
What kind of bumper did you go for?

Not my truck but that's the bumper. It's RRW, I was going to get a CBI offroad (look basically the same) but last minute these guys had a sale from $1200 to $700, so I decided to go that route.

Nice, saw their Black Friday sale, was super tempting.
I am pretty much set on an Aluminium CBI with mid hoop.
Just waiting for the money to roll in.
Not too fond of cutting the bumper though.
Trying to figure out if I can find those upper bumper pieces as precuts.

Yea, that was my original choice. Just figured I could knock out 2 things I wanted for the price of one so I went for it lol. I'll be getting CBI's high clearance rear with dual swing outs next.
I've never seen pre cut bumpers so I don't think it's an option, though I think that's a great idea. Normally it's just a straight line from the top of the fog light so doesn't seem too
difficult if you can at least measure correctly. Still scary though haha.

I recall the Maxx Powell having fiberglass precuts for his Tacoma.
However he has fiberglass fenders also, so must have came in a kit.

Ye, cutting straight doesn't seem to be too bad.
Just down the line, if and when I want to revert back to stock, would have to buy a whole new bumper.

It is in the event that I ever move back to Japan.
I would like to bring my truck with me.
Japan is pretty strict on certain things on entry, so being able to revert to stock, and load all my mods on the bed of my truck for after I pass the Initial inspections.

I think I saw your truck when I was in the Agana area on Wednesday.
I think your truck seems to be the only 3rd Gen on island with an armored bumper.

Bumper and the rest of the gear in the bed makes me jelly.
Getting there, need to save up money for that CBI T3.
