The cage is on, and ready for the Tepui Kukenam XL Ruggedized hopefully to be here this month. I am very impressed with this cage. Billy, does a great job, and enjoys talking to his customers! Thumbs up all around. This cage will last a long time. 20170407_065128.jpg 20170407_070005.jpg

That's a fine item...if you don't mind me asking, what that set you back?

It ran me $800 with the powder coat. Since I'm only 30 minutes away from him, he had it powder coated. Can't say enough about Billy. He is pretty much a one man show. Did a great job.

Any idea how I can get my hands on one? Love the fact it mounts to bed floor, and doesn't rest in bed rails.

Brute Force is out of Fresno. He's a one man show, so his builds take some time. 20170603_093133.jpg Here's how she currently sits with the tent and awening.

Awesome man! I’m about to order my tent finally as well. Think I’m going Ruggedized Autana, but I’m thinking I might want to space the tent up a few inches off of the rack, I’m 6’ and I think I may have to duck to go under the tent lol. How high is the bottom of your tent when it’s deployed? The only reason I’m going Autana is for the annex for the lady. She may want some standing room privacy for changing and whatever

I'm 5'10". When my tent is deployed, I have to tilt my head when going under it. It's not to bad, but I could see you bending down a little more. I'll get you measurements a little later today.

Dang!!! That thing is real nice. I'd be lying if I said I didn't want one!

Maybe after I get my front suspension revamped I can make it happen.

Thanks for sharing OP and nice work as always Billy!

I measured my truck ground to bottom of my tent. It measures 5'6". Now my truck has about a 2" lift. Billy can probably make the rack taller, since its all custom.

Yeah I think mines a little taller than yours from my Deavers. I may put them on a 1” square tube on top of the rack or something. I thought about cutting my cage and adding in some 2” pieces of pipe or something. Idk yet, I gotta wait till the tent comes in anyway

OP, rig looks great and I really like the Brute Force bed cage. It has been on my list of potential set up options for a while now.

My biggest concerns are security for whatever is in the bed and weather, i.e. rain and snow. I know there is no "one end all be all solution," but trying to find something that checks off more pros than cons.

Did you have similar concerns or was there something that really led you to the cage? Appreciate the help.

    Have a Merry Christmas all!!

Security wasn't really a concern for me. I've now built a trailer for my Tepui. I currently keep my Tepui awning, and Maxtrax on my rack. My Maxtrax are locked up. I would probably be more concerned with security if my truck was not in the garage at night. I was curious what I'd find after leaving my truck at the airport for 5 days. Everything was still there. My theory is, no one really knows what is on my truck. Hahaha!
