Stock 2016 tow hitch, no mounting hardware. (Taken off when I put on a c4 bumper.)

Baja dust included for free, or can be hosed off if you ask nicely. :mudding:

Local pickup or TW express from the Peninsula (94022).

If you can figure out how to pre-pay someone to pack and ship it in a scam-proof way, sure. Otherwise, I suspect it's only worth it for this to get picked up by someone local.

Cool, first dibs to @itsynot then @acordova1050 assuming that one of you can sort out LA pickup/bribes w/ @TaCo ADDICT for a TW express run.

I have a question, I ordered a hitch for the truck, Is there any concerns when I hook up any trailer wiring. I have a kit that has a module etc. and was told if I run something to ground it could mess up the electronics. So my question, should I do the wiring or take it in to be done. One more question, If I remove the tail lights is there any concerns in that area?

3rd gen taillights are easy to pull out and put back, you shouldn't have any trouble there. As for the wiring, it's like most things on the truck - it's not hard, but make sure that you don't screw it up. ;) If you're comfortable with a multimeter and are suitably OCD about electrical taping everything, you'll probably be fine doing it yourself. If it's your first wiring job, I might take it to someone else.

Also not sure if they are the same but I also have a oem tow hitch but it’s off a 2015 2nd gen. If you figure it out I can bring both down, if it doesn’t sell prior to me leaving

I am a retired electrician, the kit is a plug and play other then running a hot wire to the battery from the module supplied in the kit, also need to ground a wire right in the back. I was told that these new trucks can be screwed up if I run to ground. As mentioned I have to go to the positive side of the battery and may need to remove that positive cable. I just did not want to mess up a brand new trucks electrical system
I am leaning towards having my can mechanic do it. I am going to bolt the hitch up myself as it is for the Tacoma, Thanks for the advice

I am also sorry I high jacked this post, I was not aware someone was trying to sell a hitch, I will pay closer attention next time I post

I think it was the Baja dust that helped it sell

The guy who bought it said he was replacing one that a Tesla tried to mate with. Sounds like it should be a pretty common Seattle area problem.

Yeah Seattle/SF problem for sure. Teslas are like civics here, with newbie drivers crashing into everything lol.
