What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

Lol...the good old days. Two 15s in a custom box. I thought that truck was going to fall apart from all that bass

 

Lol my first taste of two 15s was in a little 93 nissan pickup reg cab 2 wheel drive. I think I lost some hearing from it. That truck was fuuuuun and took abuse like a Yota

My son has a 2001 Carolla, and it to burns oil. It's worse at highway speeds. If you drive it on a long trip, all highway miles, it goes through almost a quart per tank full. I've heard this stuff:

I've used their injector cleaner to free sticking injectors and remove buildup, no idea if any other other stuff is good tho, hopefully it works for ya

Got me a new Viair 300p compressor...finally get to ditch the 88p I've had for a few years though it had served me well, it was a workhorse that I used a ton. But filling up my 33s with it took a good 20-30 minutes.

Tested the 300p on my wife's Accord and it took her front tire from 28psi to 42 psi in half a minute lol. This one will do nicely

 

Let us know how it works. I might give it a try. However mine doesn’t burn that much oil?

I have the same one and it works great. I think in higher altitudes it works a little slower but still do able. I aired up 3 Tacoma’s, 12 wheels, from 15 to 30psi in about 30min?

 

Hey man I will be back in Seattle for a few days next week, if you want to check it out its got lots of good features that get overlooked.
Completely folded down, the matting for the suspension system and can be adjusted firm or soft. The star gazer windows x2, 2 doors, the tent is removable from the frame and has its own heavy waterproof bottom. Can be stored on the legs, collapsed, or entirely removable. These loops slip over the frame stubs and keep it in the open state, they are adjustable on tension as well. The rain fly is the same style as a backpacking tent. Measures 2'9x4'10 collapsed on the length and width.

 

I'll let you know if it helps. His doesn't burn near as much oil city driving, maybe one quart every six or eight tank fulls.

How should I use $500, LBJs at 80k, new seats, or just seat covers, new wheels and tires, ahhh so many options.

 

Seats are damn cheap from the junkyard. These Scion seats I bought were only $80.

Well for that price I can probably do LBJ, seats and seat covers. Our seats are so bad I’ve been wanting to switch them out.

 

If you want a bolt-in affair, Corbeau makes great racing seats. They’re pricey though.

3rd Gen 4Runner seats will fit with minor modification. For my Scion seats, I cut the Tacoma and Scion feet off by drilling out the rivets and spot welds. I’m welding the Tacoma feet to the Scion tracks tomorrow.

Yeah, even my leather, power, heated, lumbar BMW seats were only $220.
