    Hi All.

I'm working on doing the big 3 upgrade to my Taco. I was wondering if anyone knows what type of plastic connectors are used for the alternator, starter and fuse box?

Alternator uses 3 wires on a 4 pin harness, starter is a 1 wire 1 pin, and the fuse box is a six pin connector.

I'm trying to buy these connectors without the whole engine harness no 2.

    Cheers!

I thought the Big 3 was power and grounds. No plastic connectors needed.

But I have not tackled this yet on my taco.

The charging system harness includes three plastic connectors. Since I'm doing kind of a custom setup I want to purchase these connectors standalone.

@mctechhweng what you end up doing? I'm getting prepared to do this too before adding a winch and a HO alternator. I'm a bit confused if I need to replace the harness to do so. Thought I could just swap out the wires. Still need to take out the battery and fuse box to trace everything, but information gathering up front. Happy holidays.

I'm going to leave the factory harness alone, and add extra wires for the big 3. I’ve seen some ppl have rebuilt the harness, but I’m not adding a HO alternator.
