I disconnected my Unichip and removed 70mm TB and installed stock intake to get ready for SMOG. Unichip probably wasn't necessary but figured it was easy enough.

I forgot to reset the ECU when removing the TB and got a TP sensor error. Disconnected battery and the ECU seemed to reset. Drove it a couple times but today when I tried to start it nothing. Lights on but doesn't start. repeated battery disconnect and truck started and ran.

I have a wifi OBD-II reader and I am not seeing any codes. I guess it's possible there are some I can't see.

Thoughts? Did I fry my ECU? Should I take it into dealer and have them do more thorough diagnostic?

Only thing I can think of is I pulled a wire from harness loose but that doesn't explain the ability to restart and run fine after disconnect.

Not good news but in my experiance if something is wrong with a module a hard reset aka disconnecting battery will fix it for a short period, could you have programmed the ECU with an older program that maybe has a glitch? Im at a dealer so i dont know what all non dealer programming gets you the latest software or what.

I figure if it was a critical recurring error it would happen again. At first i thought it was immobilizer or something but that was confirmed not the issue as the light around the key lights up.

Weird thing is it happened a few times after I pulled the unichip /TB and then only once since then, so it's inconsistent. I am going to suspect some weird error message that hopefully has worked its way out of the memory after driving? Maybe the change in TB caused a TPS sensor issue that put it into safety mode preventing start? I am going to try a hard reset I got some instructions on a jumper wire in OBD port and reinstall the unichip and 70mm TB. I picked up a spare 2010 ECU which matched part numbers to mine so hopefully I don't need that.
