Well I had considered a 2018 a couple months ago and 2.5% was the best they were offering for a new truck and excellent credit, that’s why the 0.99% surprised me. Given the recent fed rate hikes I can’t imagine that rate exists for regular consumers.

When I bought the SR5, the best was 2.9%. When I went to buy the OR, the offerings were 0.9% and 2.9% (credit and cashback offerings). While nice, the cashback was better and then finance elsewhere at similar new car low rate, because savings earning better returns. It really just depends on your scenario (cash on hand, length of loan, interest rate, etc.). This market downturn could hurt some in the pocketbook.
