What’s ironic is that a Tesla could probably drag any one of those trucks out of the space. That electric motor torque ain’t nothing to fuck with.

 

Why?

 

Two things. 1. Stupid this happened for a likely bunch of idiot kids with "daddy money" .Or, people with no problems in their lives who decided to cause them for others. Number 2. Sad this made news. Worse things happen everyday, but because it's opinionated and controversial,that's what makes headlines. Dumb .

That Tesla is more expensive then all those shit buckets combined.

 

They hate truck owners because they are:

Saving the planet
Those delivery charges from Lowes, Home Depot and Best Buy add up.

Another thing that is ironic is that the amount of fossil fuels burned in the mining operation to collect the elements needed to manufacture that Tesla's battery likely exceeds the total amount of fuel those shit buckets will all burn, combined, in the time between being manufactured and crushed.

Of course, this is all besides the point. The point being that this is a clash between idiot rednecks and the imagined fart sniffing hippie.

A lot of Tesla owners *are* assholes, just like a lot of rednecks *are* rednecks.

For me personally, I'm not interested in an electric vehicle until supercapacitor technology matures to the point where we can do away with chemical batteries. That is when electric vehicles will truly become practical. BUT, I couldnt care less about which kind of chemical reaction powers someone's vehicle.
