Big ones are King suspension, SSO bumper w/winch, Pelfreybuilt sliders.
The fumoto valves are great, but as far as a clean oil change you're still going to have issues replacing the cartridge oil filter in the 3rd gens. For this reason I haven't bothered putting a fumoto valve on. It's gonna be messy regardless.

I didn't think the filter was that bad. I bought an oem and it had the little plastic pour insert thing.

I actually made more of a mess with the oil drain plug. Poured out so fast, it hit the top of my catch pan and sprayed everywhere

I like the f103sx on my 4 banger, think it’s pretty well protected by the cross member. No guarantees for a 6-cyl, but it does stick down less than the f103 or f 103n.

I have this cartridge in wife's Lexus and there should be no mess if you do it right ... remove filter housing drain bolt; drain the oil; put the bolt back in; remove housing; remove oil filter and drain remaining oil from the housing. I'm assuming the housing faces down in the 3rd Gen Taco as it does in the Lexus; if not, it will make a mess.

I had a Fumoto valve on the Lexus but it hung too low and got paranoid it was going to catch on road debris; so, removed it. Works great on the Taco though because a cross member provides protection.

Exactly. Idk how people think the filter is messy. It's one of the easiest oil changes I've done. Way cleaner than a metal one imo.

I used a stalhbus drain valve on mine. Much lower profile, German made and unique. Loving it so far.

Does anyone know if this valve works with a TRD skid plate? Can you still install the hose connector for draining oil through the hole in the plate?

I've used the Fumoto on three cars thus far. It's not just a way of avoiding mess.
It simply removes the task of taking the drain plug out...just a flick of the switch does the trick....and no risk of cross threading anything during the job.
