@STgen3 rusty butcher..... what else do you ride?

Took the new ride out for ride for a buddy on Xmas eve. A tick under 9 miles. Working on set-up. Moving from hardtail to FS.....

Where da pics at!? I'm LOVING this thing so far. Still learning it, but am getting a tiny bit better every day. I've since covered up some of the red with some vinyl I got for super cheap. It started out just to protect some of the paint, but then I ruined even more, LOL.

I lived right next door to Aliso Wood Canyon, El Moro, and Laguna Wilderness so I rode those most of the time. I also enjoyed the Whiting Ranch area and the rides off of Ortega Highway occasionally. Enjoy Southern California, the year round riding is one of the things I miss.

I got my hands on a demo Trust fork to test out. It should be interesting on the trail today...

Freakin sweet man! I really want to ride one of these. Always been in the camp that telescopic forks for MTB are just a bad design that the industry has nearly perfected (maybe get a little lighter, but cant change the geo effects of going through travel and inherent stiction).

On a similar note... I really want to test out the StructureCycles bike: https://structure.bike/

Pretty nice ride man, my girl rocks a trigger and the tech on it is pretty cool with the remote lockout and stuff.

Yeah cannondale really stepped it up that last few years. I think the merger with GT really benefits the r and d. The Jekyll is by far the best bike I’ve rode.

Damn I had no idea they merged with GT? I bet their funding has gotten much bigger then.

Had a nasty OTB yesterday. Hit an air bubble in my rear brake and had no pressure at all coming off a big gap. I hit the berm in a straight line like a jump and and ended up sailing over the bars and a tree stopped me. Flats destroyed my shin and landed directly on my head. I'm sore as hell today
