Just found out (confirmed my suspicions) that Ariat doesn't make the style of boots I have anymore. About time for a new pair, as well.

I wear these at the moment, looks like I'll have to hit up Big R and/or Boot Barn and try a million things on to find something similar... I was really hoping to just get the same boot so I wouldn't have to worry about finding something that fits right/lasts a while.

Also, I'm not a fan of square toes and it seems that round toes are going out of style so they're harder to find..

 

Fuck a square toe. I usually wear a J toe. My boots for work have a much rounder toe than I usually wear... But they are pretty comfy and bombproof.

 

Yeah, I think I'm gonna go for a pair of straight ropers this time around. I like the short shaft and round toe. Not sure about the roper heels but as long as their comfortable and durable, I really don't care.

 

I can't find much around here with a shorter heel that's not a damned square toe. Most of my stuff has a roper heel.

 

I haven't worn a roper heel enough to have a preference towards it. I just really don't like square toes and I don't get why they're so damn popular now.

 

It's what happens when things go mainstream......look what happened to country music.

Yeah, I know. I try to keep away from that trash. I will say there's a few of those songs that I have as a bit of a guilty pleasure...

 

I like Chris Stapleton. Some of the other stuff is ok, but not what I would consider "country" more "pop music"

 

I like Stapleton, LeDoux, Sturgill, Isbell, Donahew, and the like. Usually just pick one of those guys for a Spotify radio station and go with that.

 

I remember seeing zac brown about 10 years ago at a local show when they were more folk and blue grass and nobody knew who they were. Saw them again a couple years ago and left the show midway through.
Still listen to willie, Johnny, hank Williams, Jamey Johnson and Merle from time to time.
Stapleton is good for a new(er) artist.

 

I dig all fo them. I have some willie, hank, and merle on records. Zac Brown turned into a frat bro let's sit by a bonfire and get shitfaced on fireball kind of band..

 

The Aaron Lewis country stuff is pretty decent for being a masshole...
