Does anyone know if a 2015+ colorado / canyon ARE brand truck cap will fit a 2015 Tacoma DCSB?

This may not help you but you might be able to make it work in a pinch. I got a cap from an ‘05 Colorado given to me that I put on my 2016 Tacoma. I had to shim it a little in the back and cut off the weather strip on the rear window in order to get it to fit. It is not completely water tight, but it keeps my gear dry for the most part.

Pic of the shimming. I will do it “right” by shimming it with weather stripping when the weather gets warmer.

It’s far from perfect but it’s good enough for a winter cap to get me by until I can save up to buy one made for this truck. I wouldn’t spend a lot of money on a Colorado cap if I were you though, I would only get it if I didn’t have to pay more than a couple hundred bucks for it. YMMV.

Thanks for your reply. I found one on Facebook Marketplace, but they want $1,000.00 for that kind of money I'll find one that's made for my truck.
